On April 27, JFSJ is holding the 2010 Women of Valor Awards in New York City
The Women of Valor Award was established to celebrate the achievements of outstanding Jewish women who play a leadership role through their activism, accomplishments, philanthropy, and commitment to social justice.
Previous recipients include: Bella Abzug, Gay Block, Marilyn Braveman, Rabbi Rachel Cowan, Dr. Deborah Frank, Debbie Friedman, Sally Gottesman, Marion S. Kaplan, Nancy Kaufman, Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum, Sen. Liz Krueger, Madeline Lee, Linda Levine, Hon. Nita M.
