Jewish Funds for Justice recently launched a new grantmaking strategy, The Opportunity Fund. This fund consists of three portfolios:

• Partnership Portfolio
• Transformative Organizing Portfolio
• Innovation Portfolio

The Opportunity Fund seeks to:

• Make significant broad-based change within the Jewish community and America
• Create strategic partnerships with grantees and other foundations that allow for greater collective impact
• Promote new and innovative models of social change whose effects will reverberate on the national level

In our role as a public foundation, JFSJ is committed to:

• Accountability to donors
• Being educators within the world of philanthropy
• Sharing lessons learned within the broader community of funders and grantees

In addition to financial support, grantees will receive technical support from the grantmaking staff.

JFSJ also provides a home for Donor Advised Funds as well as Endowment Funds.
